Founder Tom Mauro, was born in Albi, a small village in the region of Calabria, Italy. Tom learned his trade as a journeyman carpenter from his brother-in-law, who taught him that the smallest details are what truly make a masterpiece complete.
Tom a proud alumni of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), founded Albi Homes in Calgary in 1982. One home at a time, Tom created a standard of quality and craftsmanship that today still exemplifies the pride that is an Albi home.
