Albi Homes Ltd., a luxury home builder dedicated to uncompromising quality and craftsmanship for thirty three years in the Calgary housing market, is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Finance Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparation and analysis of financial statements for several operating or investment companies
• Cash Management including regular compliance reporting as required by banking agreements
• Leading the year end requirements in an audit environment
• Assisting with implementation and improvement of a solid framework of internal controls
• Accurate reconciliation of payroll and benefit expenditures

Other duties will include:

• Training and support to senior members of the accounting team
• Support to the Corporate Controller
• Working with the leadership team to review financial results and assist with their knowledge of financial results
• Working on varying projects towards continuous improvement
• Direct supervision of accounting staff

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior level accounting role with a recognized accounting designation in Canada. Experience in the residential construction and previous supervisory experience will be considered assets, however, not requirements.

Show Home Hostess

Albi Homes Ltd., one of Calgary’s premier builders specializing in the luxury housing market, is seeking a part-time Showhome hostess.

The Showhome Hostess will be responsible for welcoming customers into the Showhome and assisting the Community Managers and Sales Associates with various sales and marketing activities. The successful candidate will be professional, personable, positive and a desire to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

This is a part time position working Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Previous Showhome work experience is not required, but will be an asset to this position.

Sales Associate

This entry level position is designed to give the aspiring new homes sales professional the experience and training needed to pursue their career. As a Sales Associate you will receive training from the company and your Community Manager with the objective of learning and performing all the duties of the Community Manager.

Daily activities would include meeting and greeting the public, demonstrating homes, data base maintenance and marketing, attending sales meetings and training events. The successful candidate will be a serious individual with a focus on making a career decision.
