Perhaps you already own your perfect property and are ready to start planning. But if you need help finding the property that’s right for you, Albi’s realtor partner can help.
Some things to consider when searching for a property:
- Generally, large lots (wider than 50’) are found in the older inner-city areas. Or, with city approval, two adjacent lots can be divided, or combined, to make a smaller lot or to make one large one. Another alternative is an acreage outside the city area.
- Don’t overlook neighbourhoods in Calgary that are not considered “inner city” but that have timeless value and appeal. Neighbourhoods like Willow Park, Acadia and Canyon Meadows, among many more. Here is a complete list of Calgary neighbourhoods.
- Look for an area that has already experienced some new home renewal projects. This indicates that the neighbourhood likely welcomes such projects. Your realtor can help you identify them.
